Teresa Sousa was captivated by the beauty and complexity of Guimarães Embroidery. In her own words, she was “someone who has never picked up a needle, not even for sewing!” She has never stopped embroidering since her first training course at A Oficina, in 2009. The experience was so powerful that it also captivated the interest of her daughter, Ana Teresa Monteiro, her colleague in her embroidery work.
